Fuji Burgers

Fuji Burger is a snack bar specializing in fast food infused with Japanese influences.

The objective agreed upon with the client was to craft a visual identity evoking a "retro" aesthetic reminiscent of 1960s hamburgers, while maintaining minimalist elements. The brand name pays homage to the client's family, who introduced Japanese flavors into American fast food after immigrating to the United States.

Challenge

The brand faced significant challenges with its graphics, characterized by outdated visuals lacking cohesion. Inconsistencies were prevalent, with graphics failing to maintain a unified identity across various media platforms, spanning from digital to print. This lack of coherence hindered effective brand communication and failed to leverage the full potential of the brand's visual presence, leading to diminished impact and engagement across audiences.

Solution

we propose a solution that harmoniously blends minimalist and retro aesthetics with a hint of Japanese influence, evoking the early era of fast food. At the core of our design lies a bespoke mascot, reminiscent of our founder, serving as the anchor for a cohesive vintage vibe. This strategic approach not only honors our brand heritage but also attracts customers by resonating with nostalgia while offering a fresh experience.
